Top 5 Air Travel Apps on Android in South America Q4 2021

The fourth quarter of 2021 saw significant activity in the top air travel apps on Android in South America. Data from Sensor Tower highlights the performance of LATAM Airlines, Azul, LATAM Pass, SKY Airline, and GOL | Airline Tickets.

LATAM Airlines experienced strong growth in weekly downloads, peaking at around 77.9K in early November and ending the year with 76.4K in the final week of December. The app's weekly active users also saw an increase, rising from 95.2K at the end of September to 203.8K by the end of December.

Azul maintained steady weekly download numbers, ranging between 20.4K and 31.9K throughout the quarter. Weekly active users showed a slight fluctuation, starting at 90.9K and ending the quarter at 97.2K.

LATAM Pass observed a moderate decline in weekly downloads, starting at 27.9K in late September and dropping to 17.2K by mid-November, before slightly recovering to 18.7K by the end of December. Active users saw a similar trend, starting at 51.8K and decreasing to 44.8K by the end of the quarter.

SKY Airline had a varied trend in weekly downloads, peaking at 25.3K in the last week of December. Weekly active users increased steadily, from 47.3K at the end of September to 67.2K by the end of December.

GOL | Airline Tickets saw a significant rise in weekly downloads, starting at 12.3K in late September and climbing to 28.3K by mid-December. The app's active users also increased, from 107.9K at the end of September to 134.3K by the end of December.
